Scenic Sleigh Rides through Shimmering Snow
If you are looking for an experience you’ll never forget, why not enjoy a daytime sleigh ride with 2 Below Zero? We offer two options. Choose a Scenic Hot Cocoa sleigh ride for a group experience that includes entertainment. Or book a “one-horse open sleigh” ride for a more private (or romantic) mountain experience.
Scenic Hot Cocoa Sleigh Rides—50 Minutes
Scenic hot cocoa sleigh rides take guests on a 50-minute round-trip experience aboard our buckboard sleighs from the Frisco Adventure Park to our remote site. The sleigh ride is about 20 minutes out to our site where you will then warm up with hot cocoa (we’ll add some Peppermint Schnapps to the adults), fresh baked warm cookies and enjoy music while you take in mountain views for 10-15 minutes. Then you will get back on the sleigh for a 10 minute ride back. Total time is about 50 minutes. This is an outdoor activity so dress warmly.
We encourage people to dress warmly in layers. We also recommend people bring along warm boots or shoes, gloves or mittens, a hat and a scarf. We provide blankets on the sleigh.
Scenic Hot Cocoa Rides Typically Depart at 3:45 PM (we add a 2:30 PM if we fill the 3:45 PM ride and we add a 1:15 PM ride during peak times). Check-In is 30 minutes prior to departure.

Private Sleigh Rides—45 Minutes (Private rides are no longer available this winter season)
This is the romantic experience you have dreamed about. A beautiful horse. A red vis-à-vis sleigh with seating for up to four. And, one of our friendly cowboys to guide you. We’ll take you on a 20-minute ride to our remote site. The driver will then tie off the horse and allow you to disembark, take pictures, have some complimentary Hot Cocoa (with Peppermint Schnapps , if desired) and enjoy the mountain vistas for a few minutes. Then it’s another 20 minutes of delightful sleigh ride down the trail to the Nordic Center.
