Summer Chuckwagon Rides
Summer Chuckwagon Ride with Barbecue and Fun for All!
Take a buckboard wagon to our summer camp site for an old-fashioned evening of games, barbecue dinner, and an energetic Wild West Show that will keep the whole family entertained.
Our draft mule-team-drawn wagons take guests from the parking area to our camp site through unmatched Rocky Mountain scenery. Spend some time in the game corral before dinner, playing cowboy golf, cornhole toss, horseshoes, and practicing your ropin’. If you are getting hungry, enjoy homemade biscuits and honey, while the Two Below Zero staff put the final touches on your barbecue dinner.
Our Wild West Show is a highlight of many visitors’ summer vacation in Colorado. The Jackman Brothers put on an engaging performance that is fun for all ages. You might even find members of your family drawn into the onstage merriment.
We typically run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the peak of summer. In June we have a modified schedule depending on how many people reserve. Arrival is 4:45 PM for check in (we are usually there 15 minutes early just in case you are early). You are usually back at your car around 8:00 PM at the end of the evening. Reservations are required.
Don’t miss the opportunity to make the Two Below Zero Chuckwagon Dinner a part of your summer in Breckenridge. Our seating is limited, so make your reservations early by calling 970-453-1520. Or use our online form here to request a reservation.

The Surprise Hit of Our Trip! Last week our group of 10 did the chuckwagon/dinner/wild west show. I was expecting it to be entertaining for the 3 and 5 -year-old children in our group, but all of the adults ended up loving it, too! From the moment we gathered outside of our cars in the parking lot, the staff and the actors were on point, making sure everyone was taken care of and having a great time. After a short wagon ride pulled by friendly mules, we were at the property. Surrounded by gorgeous mountains and a peek of the reservoir, we had dinner and drinks, and enjoyed a hilarious interactive wild west show at our reserved tables. Games like horseshoes, ladder toss, lasso practice, cornhole and ringtoss were in a corral right outside the dinner/show tent and available the entire evening. Dinner was buffet style BBQ, second helpings were encouraged, and the food was better than I expected. The whole thing seemed effortless and just the right amount of western kitsch, which I know means that actually a lot of thought went into the planning and execution. A special shout out to the Sheriff for keeping us all safe from Dirty Dog! I wouldn’t have booked this event if we didn’t have kids in our group, but after going, I’d highly recommend it not just for families but even for adults looking for a unique, silly and sweet evening.
